What is the max capacity of the venue?

We recommend about 180 people. We have parking available for approximately 60 cars to park onsite.

When are you open?

We host weddings Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in May, June, July, August, and September. We are an outdoor-only venue. We are available for tours on select evenings and weekends.

What is included with the venue rental?

We take pride in offering all the essentials for one great price! Venue rental always includes: 12 hours use of the property; riverfront ceremony area with log archway; riverside reception area with 2,000 square foot dining area; 200 square foot dance floor; riverfront cabin get-ready room; scenic barn get-ready room; cedar log swing bench; parking for 60 vehicles; 3 portable restrooms (one ADA) and sinks; garbage hauling & disposal; perimeter lighting; designated smoking area; games package (corn hole, badminton, etc); seasonal fire pit with hand-sawn log benches; rolling marble-topped bar; wedding party fridge; electrical hook-up for DJ; special access parking for caterer; garbage disposal, on-site manager; 1.5 hour rehearsal.

What kind of decorations can we use?

We love to get creative with our couples! Let’s talk more about your vision of the perfect day beside the river. In general though, our guidelines include being friendly to our environment. Being right next to the river, we discourage the use of rice, artificial flowers, glitter, and other items that could hurt the critters around us. We love bubbles! Real flower petals are beautiful and easy to clean up. We’re always open to new ideas.

Can we get ready on site?

Absolutely! We have two amazing get-ready rooms for you to use. We also give you 12 hours of access to the property so that you can have enough time to really take your time!
Our barn-suite room features a comfy couch, plenty of seating, a make-up bar with four stations, numerous attire hooks, multiple mirrors, great lighting, and a dutch-door entrance out to a private, outdoor courtyard.
Our cedar cabin room is almost outdoors with one whole wall open to the river; there are multiple places to sit, a separate changing room, attire hooks, a mirror, and dartboard. Best of all, this space converts to a great little spot to sign documents or share a drink after the ceremony.

Is a rehearsal included?

Yes, a 1.5 hour rehearsal is included, at no extra cost, generally the Thursday before your event.

What is the DJ set up?

There is a 15 amp electrical plug in for the DJ at the reception area. We recommend that the DJ bring battery-powered speakers and wireless microphones in order to have sound at the ceremony site, if you desire it.  There is no power at the ceremony site. Only one DJ set up should be required.
DJ’s welcomed and encouraged to preview the property!

We also are now offering a sound package for additional purchase, which includes bluetooth-enabled portable speakers and wireless microphones!

What are my catering options?

Please note that we do not have any kitchen facilities at our venue. We do not have any access to fresh water at the venue. Our venue is rustic, so please prepare your caterer to be self-contained and have their own water supply. Caterers must be licensed with the county and provide proof of liability insurance. If self-preparing or serving food, all food must be prepared off-site. No kitchen or prep areas are available on site.

Please note we do not have a kitchen prep area at the venue. 

What are my alcohol options?

You must hire a licensed bartender to provide alcohol service. Beer, wine, champagne allowed only; no hard liquor allowed. Wedding couple must purchase alcohol liability coverage option with their wedding insurance policy. Bartender must provide their own water supply and ice. No self-service allowed. Alcohol can only be supplied by wedding couple and/or bartender. No alcohol may be delivered/replenished by guests.

       Do I need to purchase wedding liability insurance?

Yes! The wedding couple must supply proof of wedding event liability insurance for no less than $1 million per occurrence/$3 million aggregate. Recommended providers: http://www.wedsafe.com or http://www.eventhelper.com. River Valley Oasis, LLC and Jamie Parker must also be added to this policy as “additional insured”.
If serving alcohol- couple must add liquor liability insurance to the policy, as well.

     Do you allow pets?

Yes, we do for ceremony and pictures! Please speak with us more about your vision for including your best friend in your big day. Some restrictions do apply.
