Jamie and James have such a beautiful venue and went above and beyond to make our day special. We truly appreciate the quick communication, excellent vendor suggestions and venue amenities (fire pit, lawn games, outdoor speakers, tables + chairs… I could go on.) The river was beautiful and while I couldn’t get on the rock for photos since the rainy season decided to stick around, I did put my feet in and made it my place to get away when I needed a break.
During out vows an eagle flew right behind us and I loved the 3 wall cabin so much. It’s the perfect place to go right after the ceremony to let the guests filter into the reception area. They were so easy to work with and let me come up to see the venue a few times to really plan out where everything will be set up. Super nice people who had all the answers to all my questions.

The newly laid grass and flagstone path was gorgeous, and really added the final touch of perfection.
Although the venue does not hold restrooms, the portable out-houses they chose were clean, smelled fresh, and the hand washing station was great.
The venue was affordable, beyond beautiful, and made the perfect venue for our perfect day. We couldn’t have done it without them! If you’re wondering if you should go with River Valley Oasis, wonder no more! This is the place for you.

The Mayfields”“The venue was great! The owners were very accommodating and responsive. I mean they let us have smoke bombs for photos, they are great people! Unfortunately, it was the hottest weekend during our wedding but the river and the shade definitely helped keep it a few degrees cooler. I recommend the venue to everyone!”
“This wedding venue is absolutely gorgeous! Not only the venue is great though, Jamie and her husband were incredible to work with. They were so kind and informative throughout the whole planning process. Planning a wedding during COVID was so stressful but the venue was always an easy part. They kept us updated on all the rules that were changing and did all they could to make our day happen. During the rehearsal Jamie walked the property with us and had me explain what I wanted and where. Also she threw out some ideas she had seen before and even had a couple of spare decorations she welcomed us to use. Everything was beautiful and the day couldn’t have gone better. The rooms to get ready in are absolutely stunning, the reception are has plenty of space for people, games, and they have a paved dance floor which was perfect because it was raining all morning. The view of the river behind the alter in the ceremony area set the tone for a very romantic wedding. I could go on and on about all the beautiful features of this venue. I will forever be thankful that we chose such an amazing wedding venue. Thank you so much to Jamie!”
“River Valley Oasis is truly a hidden gem! We were looking for a venue where we could be creative without being tied to preferred vendors and a ton of rules, and we got so much more! The owners were so friendly, laid back and accommodating. We appreciated that they were up front about their rules and expectations and there were no surprises or hidden rules/fees.
The venue is absolutely gorgeous by itself, and it makes for the perfect canvas for anyone to make it their own. If you are a couple looking for a true PNW wedding, this hidden gem is the place for you! Get ready in the relaxing groom and bridal suites, get married down by the river, and then dance the night away amongst the solar powered lights that illuminate the lush trees and beautiful landscaping of this wedding oasis.”

“My Husband and I had our wedding here in late September 2018 and this venue is just absolutely beautiful!!! River front view, surrounded by nature and trees, and the property itself is so well maintained we didn’t need much decoration at all. We were the first wedding to have occurred there and at first sight(back in May) it definitely seemed to be a work in progress but every time we visited during our engagement the area just improved tremendously (this is over a 5 month period !)!! I cant wait to visit again someday and see how much the place has grown. I was beyond excited we found such a perfect place for our wedding right in our own home town and at such an affordable price. This venue is perfect for weddings going for a whimsical, natural, fairytale style. The owner Jamie is very sweet and really tried to accommodate all my wishes for the big day. The only things that were a struggle to navigate with was catering and communication. Jamie had a preferred cater that could not fit our budget. The good news is you don’t have to do the preferred cater, the bad news is you don’t have access to the on site kitchen or to the sinks in the kitchen. Suggestion? Food trucks. As for communication, there were times when we were told one thing and then not allowed to do the things we had initially agreed upon in the end. Suggestions? Know the contract like the back of your hand and if anything is agreed upon after the contract is signed, get it in writing! But really those were the only things. In the grand scheme of things those issues didn’t phase the big day one bit. It was the happiest day of my life and my wedding felt so complete at River Valley Oasis. I can not thank Jamie enough!
